The Major Arcana

The Fool: Adventures, new beginnings, possibilities, faith, openness, foolish

The Magician: Creativity, skill, flowing energy, knowing what to focus on
The High Priestess: Knowledge, intuitiveness, receptive, waiting, feminine

The Empress: Birth, passion, mothering, creativity, prosperous

The Emperor: Confident, stability, reason, leader, organized
The Hierophant: Tradition, conforming, teaching, in touch with spirit, spiritual guide
The Lovers: Beginning of a new romance, choice based on self-knowledge
The Chariot: Embarking on a journey, will power, controlling distracting urges

Strength: Courage, energy, strength, controlling lower emotions
The Hermit: Alone, inner wisdom, withdrawal, quest to find inner gifts
The Wheel of Fortune: Luck, fortune, destiny, unexpected news, ups and downs
Justice: Balance, harmony, karma, forgiveness, action based on judgment
The Hanged Man: Suspension, giving up control, sacrifice, spiritual surrender
Death: Change, new beginning, giving up what doesn’t serve you anymore

Temperance: Patience, fusion of qualities, moderation, compromise, integration
The Devil: Facing the shadow, self-sabotage, too materialistic, holding self-back, projection onto others
The Tower: Sudden, unexpected change, opening up blocks to inner self
The Star: Optimism, spirituality, insight, hope, inspiration, faith, health, openness
The Moon: Fear, test of faith, dreams, intuition, emotions
The Sun: Success, joy, happiness, love, fulfillment, health
Judgment: Renewal, awakening, following the call of spirit
The World: Completion, triumph, balance, end of an important time

Two of Wands: Looking for new horizons
Three of Wands: Overlooking a situation, seeing results of a project
Four of Wands: Prosperity, celebration, fruitfulness, security
Five of Wands: Quarrel, dispute, competition, obstacles, problems
Six of Wands: Victory, leadership
Seven of Wands: Stiff competition, defending self
Eight of Wands: Journey, movement, energy
Nine of Wands: Be prepared, protect self, defensive/experience from past experience
Ten of Wands: Overwhelmed, too busy, overactive
